Product description

1. Pencil to Paper.
Like most brilliant ideas, our designs first come to life on a piece of paper.
2. Paper to Wood.
All design elements are meticulously traced before each wood block is hand carved, using a centuries-old technique.
3. Wood to Dye.
Following the carving process, artisans apply dye to surface of the wooden block, coating every line and curve.
4. Dye to Fabric.
The artisan stamps the wooden block onto the fabric, transferring the design with precision and care. This is done repeatedly across the fabric's surface, as the artisan works from border to outline to main print and finishing touches.
